Sing When You're Winning

What a fantastic night we had at the Linton Fireworks.
As is the norm when the Accelerants have a gig, the day was spent waiting around for the main event with D fiddling about with guitars and equipment, Accelerants descending on the house and various instruments and gear being carted over to the venue.
The children and I went over to the Leech's with Heidi and Sam at about 4 o'clock for an early dinner and a few drinks then made our way back to Camping Close at 6 where the Accelerants played a blinding set to approximately 5,000 people. It was amazing to see the field packed with people, lit up with glow sticks and phone torches and all of the children dancing their socks off at the front. D's blip gives a great idea of the atmosphere of the evening.
After the firework display we headed over to Carlotta's for more food and drink then back again to the Leech's for a nightcap or two.
D (now a proper diva) kept disappearing off to various after show parties. I expect we will all be left behind as he ventures out on his new rock and roll lifestyle.
