Poly. The clever dog

I spent today on Rotoroa Island in the Hauraki Gulf. It was a special Conservation day with 40rare native Skinks released. The island is predator free- an amazing place. My personal highlight was photographing some Shore Dotterels and a pair of bonding Takahe. So exciting. Poly is a special dog whose special job is to find rodents,feral cats and stoats. Shouldn't have been any for her. She was so clever, she is a Fix Terrier/ Blue Heeler cross
