A perfect day...

We spent a perfect day with our nephew, his wife and their young son today...in Washington DC. Tapas for lunch followed by a visit to the Spy Museum and then a couple of hours wandering. The day started rainy but by the time we left the museum, it was overcast and dry. Perfect for walking past some of the monuments, the White House and the WWII memorial (where this photo was taken, with the Washington Memorial in the background).

Our grand-nephew is utterly adorable and I confess to being totally smitten with him. As far as I can tell, he's perfect in every way! As for our niece and nephew...two smart, funny, grounded people who I feel blessed to have in my life. Yep, feeling very lucky.
