Late plans

are always the greatest :-)

Very late to get up today.  Even by my standards.
Then spent a good few hours watching 'Silk' on Netflix.
A chance remark by a lovely friend saw us load the camera and tripod into the car to head over Stockport way.
What followed was watching the fireworks of Stockport and Manchester play out in front of us from the top of Werneth Low, followed by a walk around Etherow Country park (where this picture was taken) - oh to see dark skies again.  Was such a glorious feeling!

More importantly, fun times with Captain Hilarious and his fabulously awesome partner, Lady Rae, along with other family members too.

You know what, I don't recall him taking one selfie all evening!
