Country Life

An average (if rainy) Saturday of sorting out horses, dog and sick child with a spot of trailer DIY.  Enlivened by The Hunt passing by twice, once in full pursuit.

I'm ambivalent about hunting - I'm not into the whole fox-killing thing but then I'm not a poultry or livestock owner, and although I'm not a rider I can certainly understand the attraction of galloping full pelt across the fields.

Great dinner out tonight at Ostler's Close with JMcG, a very old friend.  Would have been nice if Mrs B could have made it too, but circumstances dictated otherwise.
