The Way of Life

Ely Cathedral.
This is a cast-aluminium sculpture to remind us that life is far from straightforward.

We were disappointed to find that there was a basic entrance fee of £8 and apart from spending five minutes in the entrance and taking some shots of this we didn't hang about.  Disappointing as we hoped to show Maureen and John the cathedral but we all agreed we weren't going to pay what would have been £32 in total to go into a place of worship.
We have a coffee, then came home for lunch, then while the men stayed at home we popped into Cambridge for a couple of hours.  It was the driest and brightest part of the day.
And guess what - we still haven't stopped talking ............
