You'd never have known we were there!

Out for a family meal for Dad's 70th birthday today at a local pub.  Our two nieces were very good.  EM sat quietly and coloured, and L was entertained by her Dad.  Then after the main courses my sister lit some birthday "candles" which were more like fireworks and neither me or Dad was the prescribed 1m away!  Shortly followed by the fire alarm being activated!  Oops.  Some people were decidedly unamused!  Then EM was asked to put her PJs on for the ride home, with the intention being for her to go into the baby change.  Well that was the intention, but her idea was to get completely undressed right there and then, which caused some amusement!  I don't think we'll forget Dad's 70th birthday!
