Free Range Children

I wasn't planning to do much today but I found out that a previously unfound geocache had been moved to a more secure location (I thought my hunting skills had failed but it turned out a farmer had dug over the field it was in and buried it!) 

So, as it was only at the back of the village we ventured out when the rain lessened to light drizzle. 

This sign made me smile on our walk...we saw horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, and caught an aroma of cow or pig, but, no children! 

It's been a while since Stella and I came home quite so muddy but I'm glad we got out as she'll be on her own for a few hours tomorrow.
