A murmuration

I had never seen a murmuration of starlings before.  They were a little too distant to get a good shot but as I drove on they swooped nearer.  I pulled up and I could hear the beating of their wings.  However, by the time I got my camera out, they had moved further away and the patterns they were making were less dramatic.  This was the best shot I got and I include it for the record.  I will just have to keep the impressive sight imprinted on my memory.
