Mallardette
In town this morning for two hours manning a stall at the annual Charities Christmas Bazaar. Plenty of folk there, although feeling amongst some stallholders is that there is less cash in the community as the national economic situation takes effect.
The busiest stall appeared to be the RNLI, or "Lifeboats" as they seem to have been rebranded - I had to queue for several minutes to pay for my Christmas cards. Being an island community with severe weather at times, they are much valued by people here.
As usual, I came home with far too many homebakes...
