New shoes!

They were a birthday present - but ended up being out of stock for an age and they only arrived last week.

And I'm now clipped in for the first time since I got my bike back in May!

Had a wee go on the turbo at home and despite a very nervous tummy I decided I had to bite the bullet and just go out - keeping everything crossed I wouldn't fall off!

And it was brilliant!

No slipping or sliding with wet peddles or shoes and getting out of the saddle was fab!!!

Just have to keep the mantra in my head of peddle down, clip out, foot off and down rather than just foot down!!!!
