Broughton Public School

Waiting for FBBB and his Sweetpea in the car, I took this shot of the school building across the road from their flat. A beautiful evening with a lovely glow to highlight the stonework on this old building. They could do with doing a bit of horticultural maintenance work on such, mind you.

In the foreground you can just make-out some wilting flowers attached to the barrier. Probably as a mark of respect to someone who has lost their life at this junction. There is quite a bit of controversy that such tributes actually distract drivers and cause further accidents.

Went on to see Flying Blind at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, starring Helen McRory, whom I like a lot not least as she's married to another favourite actor, Damien Lewis. Good film , great cinematography with a story-line to give much pause for thought.
