Big Mamma

Mr B called me over to get a shot of this beauty in our electricity switchboard earlier. Strangely enough, I wasn't nervous of her. She seems to be guarding her eggs and if we don't disturb her, she just kind of hangs around. She's been getting fatter and fatter.

Mr B tells me that she's no danger to us and that we should just let her do her thing. Being a new import to Australia, I'm full of horror stories about the spiders here, but if he says it's okay ...

Tomorrow is my 42nd birthday and also my 3000th blip. What are the chances of both of those things coinciding?

Anyhoo, I'm off to bed. I need some beauty sleep.
