Sunset

I spent the morning standing on a street corner down town, being a marshal in the Source to Sea cycle race, a 150 km race from Lake Rotoiti to Westport. About 200 cycles zoomed through the town - there's a lot of very fit people out there!

This afternoon I caught up on some housework - always a chore but satisfying once it is done.

The silage was finished today. We now have 500 tonne of it in the pit. A very pleasing amount.

The sun was setting this evening, producing a magnificent sunset. I walked up towards the cowshed and captured this photo by the pond. You may see a duck with her two ducklings on the pond if you look close enough.
