Pohutukawa swing

Able to have a lie in this morning, I woke about my usual time. Realising that I had just over a quarter hour to get down to the Snells Beach foreshore (about a 10 minute run) before sunrise, I headed out. I was just in time to see the sun come from below the horizon. I like this one the best of the series.

Today is agenda reading day. I took some time out to follow up on S' suggestion that I should show the blrilliant blueness of the day. Apart from a minor straighten, the first extra for today is what the camera "saw". And what I saw. Taken from the deck.

Also took a short walk down the path to our beach and back, for some fresh air. Halfway down I saw a piwakawaka (fantail), which kept fluttering in front of me, appearing to be seeking my attention. Which having got, it left. I then saw another which then darted into the leafy branches of a tree by the path. I then saw that there was a nest. My attempts to photograph the bird on the nest suffered from the low light and my poor focussing. The second extra is of the bird before it headed into the nest.
