Foggy Severn Bridge

About 2.15pm I got the call I was waiting for to pick up a package in Newport and drop off in Bristol. It was pouring with rain, so I opted for comfort and left the little Smart on the drive and took the 4x4. The traffic looked heavy coming into Wales and on the return journey I was expecting the worse.

Going over the New Severn Bridge, it was overcast in fog, and I got the photo of the bridge supports and suspensions.

The tolls were virtually clear and I sailed over. The first I can recall for a Friday afternoon rush hour! I was back home by 4.30pm, giving me an hour to have a cuppa and sort out a meal before my next call at 6pm.
