I've Sailed a Thousand ships....

Delivery drivers call at our office all day, every day.

Most go to the back door - big deliveries pallets, and humungous boxes, but there are also many, many who come to the front door.

Every company is fairly represented, and as I mentioned to Chamberlainjohn, DPD Dave and RamRaid are two of my favourites.

It matters not a jot which one it is, or how big the box is.  As soon as they are through the door, I rush them.  "Is it for me, is it for me?"

At first, they were scared.  Now they are used to me and try distracting techniques to avoid me being sad when the boxes, or envelopes aren't for me.  - Which is pretty much all of the time.  Even the post man pre-empts my strike with "Nothing for you today Hel", as he walks in the door.

Today, a driver came in... he doesn't come often, and he still isn't quite used to my demands for gifts and presents.   And after explaining that the box of "RMA Designated Parts" were not in fact for me, or probably of any interest - he put his hand in his pocket and said, "but I saved these for you, so that I was able to bring you something".

I almost exploded with joy.

I will now show this to ALL THE DRIVERS and Demand chocolate with EVERY Delivery!

himself is not best pleased :-)  Pha ha ha ha
