BASSE CÔTE D'AGNEAU...
...with - surprise, surprise - rather a lot of garlic.
I can't prepare Brussels sprouts without thinking of my uncle Ian (the Great Ork) who, recently back from the war in Burma tried out his new pressure cooker on his brother Peter's prize sprouts.
It was a cast iron affair like a foot tall hand grenade with a pressure gauge in the lid. He treated Peter's poor sprouts to 15 atmospheres for 20 minutes. Result - a disgusting pink mush!
Peter furious - Ian ebullient!
Like my sprouts "al dente". The orange splodge is chilli sauce - not bad at all!!
