Minding the Shop

Popped over the road for milk, leaving L minding the shop. We are in Wigtown for the week, running The Open Book bookshop. Mostly settling in today and working out what we might do to set our mark on the place - what to put in the windows and so on. A number of locals have popped in to say hi and we did have four 'browsers' today. Sadly not 'buyers'. And this evening we were invited to the opening party for a new children's bookshop that is launching tomorrow. Chatted with a few of the other booksellers who were there before coming back to our flat above the shop to make some more preparations for tomorrow.
