WWT.Wetlands Centre

You couldn't have chosen a worse day for an outdoor Blipmeet and the Wetlands Centre at Slimbridge lived up to it's name today by giving us persistent rain for most of the day, but with the charming company of Hillyblips the inclement weather didn't dampen our spirits ....  all that much!  but by the end of the day we were both pretty wet through.

The Cafe/Restaurant provided a nice dry refuge where we enjoyed lots of conversation over a warming cuppa after which we braved the rain and tried to get a few photos.  I was struggling with manual settings and was grateful to Hb for her kind help and advice but having downloaded my shots I quite quickly realised that practising with manual settings on such a wet and grey day was not such a good idea!!  Onwards and upwards though and I'll keep persevering.
