PARK LIFE

MERHABA ONE AND ALL

I TOOK ABOUT 20 PICS IN THE PARK TODAY..AND AFTER REJECTING MOST OF THEM...I WAS LEFT WITH THREE TO CHOOSE FROM..AS I PUT THEM ON SLIDE SHOW..A SAT AND LOOKED...AS I DID..IMAGES AND WORDS KEPT DRIFTING THROUGH MY MIND....SO I PUT IT TO VERSE....

A LEAFY TALE
The glimmering sun sparkles through the dying leaves,
as they begin to tumble and swirl onto the shimmering pond.
To float away on rippling waves,
to the island far beyond.

As the tree stands sleeping in the autum breeze
with no cover from the winter winds,
til spring opens a new bud to begin the circle of life with ease,
and the buds will flourish as summer begins.
