British Library

We had some time to spare before catching the train home so we went into the British Library to look at the manuscript collection. Lots of really interesting manuscripts there, including a handwritten letter from Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII, the original copy of Persuasion and lots of musical manuscripts by people like Mozart and Beethoven. There were some original sound recordings too - for me the highlight must have been listening to W B Yeats and James Joyce reading their own works.
