Sharm- the long wait

In a few minutes -9.45 pm – our rep will call another meeting to discuss “the evolving situation”.
 
Some hotel guests were taken to the airport this morning only to return hours later.
Only two of the scheduled 9 planes for the UK took off.  What happened to the rest? Nobody knows.
 
The sudden news that Putin has ordered all Russians out of Egypt has upped the drama.
 
We feel we have been caught in an international crossfire between Russia, Syria and Egypt and we tourists are literally sitting targets.
 
Yet on the beach it is difficult to believe there is anything wrong.
 
 We are all sitting waiting for the rep with our smartphones, and tablets  busy searching the internet for information.


P.S. Rep tells us only one flight will take off tomorrow for the UK and it will be to Bristol.
