Blue Vase with Sunflower

Disappointing dull day for my day off :-(
We went through to Dundee to visit one of the big retail parks to get some supplies for an idea I have which I hope to experiment with this weekend :-)
Quite excited so I hope it works out fingers crossed.
I took some shots around the garden for this week's Flower Friday but the damp dull weather didn't lend itself to capturing a flower shot.
I have therefore decided to post this painting of mine of one of our sunflowers in a blue Caithness glass vase on the kitchen windowsill.
My extra shot is an earlier painting of tulips in a little blue and white vase on the same windowsill.
