Evie in the rain

Headed out to Stromness again, today it was the turn of Willy to get out for a ride. The wind was up and he was a bit less relaxed than recent rides but he never put a hoof wrong. A local builder had conveniently parked his digger along our route and Willy barely worried about it. We also did a few stretches of trot, Willy acted like he'd been doing it for months. Again, our beautiful assistants, Debby & Djego the Wonderhorse kept us company and provided a safety rope for the first half of our ride.

Back home, Gorgeous escorted me & the dogs to Evie beach. It looked bright in the direction of Evie but unfortunately as soon as we got out of the car it tipped it down.

This photo is all that I love about Evie beach, even on a grim day, the colours are beautiful. I really like the dappled effect of the rain pelting the flat calm sea.
