Cavello Nero

I spent the morning getting ready for friends S and M visiting for the weekend. We always make a special effort with cooking nice food for each other. I thought I'd boil this for 3 minutes then heat a bit of olive oil, then fry some garlic slices and chopped anchovies and add the cavello nero for a quick stir fry.

I googled it and found the idea came from the Daily Mail - must be a first for me to use anything that awful rag says. I hope we don't choke. The rest of the meal is vintage Delia as Mike has a thing about her, though the pudding will be some homemade lemon ice cream, served with what remains of yesterday's cake disaster in the oven

The posh Edinburgh gin might come out tonight!
