Red Fungi Day

As opposed to a red letter day.  I'm just recovering from a stressful and emotional house move.  Anyone on the move be warned.  The experience of moving from a house that's been home for 26 years has been worse than a bereavement.  As a fillip what should appear in the lawn at the new place but a collection of Fly Agaric fungi. You usually associate these with birch woodlands, I've got one silver birch at my new place.  Could be a good sign that the lawn hasn't had any treatment or fertilizer.  Just need to find the elves and fairies now.  See extras for more conventional images.
