Irish apples

Yes these are Irish apples, cropping very well in Northern Malawi. 
Almost all apples available to buy in Mzuzu are imported from Zambia, Zimbabwe or South Africa.
They told us that it couldn't be done, but here is the proof.
We brought the scions for this one from Seed Savers in County Clare, who have been so much help to us in all our endeavours.
This year our new boss Laston, on the farm, has taken closer interest in the apples, watering and manuring them. Now we see the results.
Looks like a bumper harvest.
