Goodbye

Mum passed away peacefully just after midnight last night.

Her health began to deteriorate soon after we had booked our trip to America so it was very stressful leaving her.
I think she was determined to hang on till we got back so as "not to spoil our trip" and I am so grateful to have had this last week by her bedside.

I am not sure she was quite ready to go as despite her troubles she took great delight in so many things, particularly her great grandchildren and her racehorse.

Much loved, she will be greatly missed.
