Quilting on show

The speaker at our quilters meeting tonight brought a selection of the beautiful quilts she has made. She uses many different fabrics - one quilt was made from some old French aprons and bloomers, and it had a lovely soft feel and colours. Many of the quilts have been used as illustrations in quilting books. All had a story to tell and were full of memories for her.

I have been making a quilted cushion cover and have become disillusioned with it, but tonight's meeting has inspired me to get going again.
