Relaxing

It was good to relax at our first hotel after the delays on our journey which meant it was 46 hours before reaching our destination. The sun disappeared below the distant horizon as we watched the enormous surf crashing onto the coral reef which surrounds most of the island. The torrential rain earlier did little to curb our hopes for a good holiday exploring Mauritius.
