Run Away - Run Away!

SWMBO had to go into town today to suffer an 'interview' for the Dept. of Work & Pensions to see if she is fit for work.

The fact that she has been classified unfit for 20 years, is now undergoing more tests/examinations for suspected epilepsy and her own doctor having written to say that she is never going to be fit for work counts for nothing.

A couple of the criteria that require to be 'passed' have been changed from being able to walk the length of a football pitch without pain and being able to lift a bag of sugar onto a top cupboard shelf to can you walk 20 yards and can you take a pen out of your breast pocket.

Even todays interview & examination by a doctor means nothing and can be overridden by some beancounter with no medical knowledge.

Squirrel insisted on coming on the walk with PD and I at lunchtime.
Just as well really since SWMBO wasn't home (her interview was more than half an hour late in starting - yet if you are 5 minutes late in arriving you are deemed as not turning up!).
She had great fun kicking up the leaves and insisted on going to the fairy house - they were not at home apparently (see extra shot).
