Gently down the stream

Hallowe'en Late&Lite

Well, it's now Bonfire Night and I've only just managed to put up a pumpkin picture to mark Hallowe'en.  Oh dear!  And my pumpkins don't have faces, though I did prefer them to all the orange grins melting on local fence posts.

Here is a harlequin squash and an onion squash.  They're well bred veg from Waitrose (where I don't often shop, the things I do for blip).  I thought the harlequin in particular very pretty, even if they are both as earthbound as yesterday's blip was ethereal (hmm, probably wrong word).  And what great value: buy a veg, blip it and then eat it!  It will be interesting to me (who has never eaten either) to see if they taste any different at all!

Although it's 5th November I doubt we will hear/see many fireworks round here tonight.  It's been a foul wet day and is now a foul wet evening and Winchester's mammoth event is on Saturday night.  So I will try and bring you a blip from that.

Have a good one  xx
