Carol Tyler Exhibition at The Moors Centre
We usually make a least one trip to The Moors Centre while we are in the area and usually do it on foot. This time round we saved our visit to the exhibition for a wet afternoon. It's an interesting exploration of landscape, church architecture and medieval symbolism and I particular like the way that Carol constructs the surfaces of her collaged canvases to create a feeling of aged stonework.
I found large numbers of orange wax cap fungi in the adjoining field this morning and thought I'd go back with a different camera and small tripod. I never did. It was dark, misty and then it rained. We quite enjoyed doing our own thing today and now Ann's gone to have reflexology next door in the posh shed.
