Topping up the tan(gerines)!

Being a guest, in someone's home
can often lead to tensions,
when one of you has habits that
the other never mentions....

Like leaving every light switched on,
not turning tvs off,
interrupting Downton Abbey with
your irritating cough....

Not telling anybody when
the last loo roll has gone,
ignoring dirty dishes,
trailing mud in from the lawn....

Drinking all the best wines,
(and replacing them with cider)
shrieking like a banshee,
when you thought you saw a spider....

You've no idea the work you cause,
the annoying things you do,
but your hosts will never mention it;
they're family - they knew!



Thank you to my family for putting up with me for a week in Spain.....I know my constant singing drives them mad!
