Optimism

Up with the lark this morning for an early train up to Edinburgh. All was going well until ... an accident on the line somewhere ahead of us. So that meant a stop off at Preston as the line was closed.
Coaches were ordered and the information desk at Preston was busy busy. By the time the coaches arrived to bus us onwards we'd received good news that the line was reopening. So, after 2 hours hanging around we were back on the train.What a drag. So glad to be home.
