Who's There?

Some kind of insurance inspection thing had been scheduled for the summer house, so we all had to pack ourselves into the car and go there. Yay!

This meant a glorious forest walkie in my favourite forest for me. I didn't find one single bilberry this time, though, and no other berries either, for that matter. Mum says other animals probably ate them. Other animals? Like what animals? Bears?? Mum?!! Better be vigilant at all times...

The insurance kid (mum thought he looked like he was sixteen) was ever so nice. He wanted to inspect areas like the attic and the crawl space under the house. He pointed out a couple of things we had to fix, but on the whole, we were all right for a more than twohundred year old house. Phew!

This unusually mild and dry November, we found a small red rose in full bloom to bring home with us.
