The river of the dirt

They are digging things around our building these days. And it rained very heavily today. So there was dirt and rain the gap. It looked disgusting.
I walked in the rain without an umbrella. I got very wet and felt a little sick. My shoes got absolutely wet while I was walking in the water so I had to teach in thongs. It looked really bad for a teacher to teach in the classroom in those things.
