This alleyway is the shortcut to the bus stop.

Family rule - never go down it in the dark. It will be tempting now that it's dark after school. But even Elbows avoids it.

I managed to escape the house - I took a bus to Wood Green, did some Christmas shopping and got back again all within 2 hours, thanks to a replacement child-sitter, in the form of DougsJB.. Hopefully he didn't actually sit on the poorly child though.

And there was an added 'excitement' of D breaking her finger in netball today. No sport and no clarinet might just morph her into something else....
