Fladdabister

Another dull day with the odd light shower.  Fairly calm though and mild :)

Another day in the office and today I've been scanning old school snaps from the 1960s.  I've also been getting some training and trying to learn the ropes on our new photo archive database, exciting times for me :)  We've also had a conference in the museum today, I was down in the morning to help get things set up for the start of it.
A quick dash and bite to eat, before heading off to work in the pub tonight.  It started of real quiet, and then a mad rush came in.  Panic spread quickly amongst the Irish, when the Guinness ran dry, they'll have to wait til tomorrow for their next pint :)
Back home and feet up for the night :)

I had to nip home at lunchtime, I'd forgotten a few things.  It wasn't much of a day for a walk anyway :)  On my way back to work, I went through Fladdabister but the dull day gave me no real inspiration for a photo, so it's just a quick snap of the old hamlet.  Once one of the prettiest tounships in Shetland, now mostly in ruin.
