Tortoise Clasp. Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

Cousin Crispin is the inspiration for this Blip.  This handsome chap, about 25mm long in actual size, is the clasp on a little rosewood chest which is a family heirloom.  Sliding his carapace to the right captures his neck and head which form the hasp. This action secures the clasp.  The Extra is taken with the Macro lens, hand held.
Depth Of Field is a huge challenge.  The old Summicron lens from 1958 is less contrasty than a modern lens such as the M-E 45mm. This, to my eye, is an advantage since detail can be obscured in the harsh shadows.
