Wet, Very Wet!

We had torrential rain overnight, so my husband tells me; as usual I slept through it. It rained heavily all morning and on and off for most of the afternoon. I even took the car to the pharmacy in the village to collect the prescriptions, when normally I walk.
 
I had not planned to do any ‘proper’ work today, as I do not work for the OU everyday, but have spent all morning and some of the afternoon sorting out student’s problems.
   
Today’s picture is of a wet purple Petunia, almost past its best, but still looking reasonable in one of the window boxes. Next time I go to Scotsdales Garden Centre I will need to get new plants for the winter window boxes.
