Skeleton Gorge and Nursery Ravine

Patrick bought me a book of the "Best Walks in the Cape Peninsula" for my birthday, and this hike was my first pick! The hike up Skeleton Gorge was an exhaustingly lush, green wonderland - at the top was (no kidding) a lake surrounded by white sands - and the way down Nursery Ravine looked like another planet. It reminded me of the canyons out West. Ahh... there are no words for the beauty of this day or how delicious the Oreo McFlurry tasted afterwards.

Have back-blipped quite a bit today... I am sorry to be so behind!!
