What a way to start the day....

At 5:30am to be exact.

We got a call to say Mum who is supposed to be under palliative care in the nursing home had been carted off to hospital with a bit of chest pain.

The three of us high tailed it up there to find her no worse than usual and rescued her from a most uncomfortable day in emergency and managed to cancel the blood transfusion she was going to have.

I think we just about have the bureaucracy under control now and she is resting comfortably and sleeping most of the time.
