Dr. Seuss on the loose
This lovely finished clematis bloom looked like a Dr. Seuss character to me...I love all the hairy little details, and should probably make up a story for the kids.
Thank you, thank you for sending my blip birthday to the top of spotlight...what a wonderful birthday gift from everyone!! That was a thrill, as was hearing from so many of you.
Our summer has changed a bit...the car will be fine, Al will be home tonight, Sanibel's knees are improving...
The other day camp, however, is history. The people in charge never even mentioned that Sanibel had gotten injured...they slapped bandaids on over the dirt and blood and let her go all day without cleaning the wounds or calling one of us to come get her. When her mother called the director of the program she got zero response. Sanibel is a very tough little girl for all her tiny size, so she didn't fuss or complain (scroll left in blipfolio)....but we did!!!
So Gramma Camp will be more often...a place where the children are greatly loved and their welfare comes first!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!
