University pond

On my walk home I often look over to the pond but never leave the path. Snakes are a concern especially near water where they like to hang out to catch frogs and other wildlife seeking water. Today I was very brave and made my way close enough for a photo. The university is a green corridor between to National Parks. There are a number of ponds. This one would be the smallest.
