Home On The Ranch

..or Double Grazing

There are lots of horses here who are retired and enjoying the quiet life. These two seem happy enough and the chestnut was my new neighbour of a few weeks ago.

Every field which does not contain sheep, is home to a number of horses, some large and some very small indeed.

In the distance is a youngster who is regularly schooled on the end of a long rope.

Sometimes it feels as though I am living on a ranch. I love it!
