Worsley Monument

To the memory of Sir Robert Worsley who died July 29th 1747, This obelisk was erected on the highest eminence of his late property as an emblem of the conspicuous character he maintained during a long and exemplary life. Built in 1774.
It is on the top of stenbury down,always an achievement to me to walk up there and still able to chat along the way...lol
