End of an Era

Cassie in her school uniform for the last time before we headed off to the school prize giving this evening. It was great to see her picking up a couple of prizes - really well deserved considering all the hard work she has put in not only in this last year but throughout her time at the Academy. And it was great to see her service to the school as Deputy Head Girl rewarded so publicly too. We're really proud of you Cass.

The guest speaker talked (for some considerable time) about his memories of the school and tried to give some advice for pupils moving on to other things. His talk was interesting and amusing but could have been whittled down to "Know Yourself" or "Become Yourself" - wise words.

Although the evening wasn't about us it was the end of an era for us too as parents. No longer will we have children at school! Quite a scary thought!

Anyway, well done again Cass! Here's to the future!
