A hidden jungle
Tiny Tuesday: Moss after rain
The birds peck at the moss growing on the roof tiles of the house, searching for insects to eat. The disturbed moss rains down onto the encircling wet garden paths, where it waits to be stood on, swept up, or to dry out and be blown away.
The area in the photo is no more than 1 cm by 1 cm, so it definitely qualifies for the Tiny Tuesday challenge, which is being curated by JDO this month. Not the most exciting macro shot, but as I've been stuck in an office all day and it is now raining my options are limited!
